The Orthopedic Division

At the top of the division are the A and B Orthopedic Departments and the adjacent orthopedic units, covering areas like foot, ankle, palm, spine and joints. In addition, the division comprises the Sport Injuries and Arthroscopy Units and the Endoscopic Orthopedic Unit.

The Endoscopic Orthopedics Unit and Sports Injuries at the Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) is among the national leaders in its field in Israel and is known to many athletes who visit it for rehabilitation following sports injuries.
Pediatric Orthopedics Department
The pediatric orthopedics department is well known in Israel and abroad, thanks to its expertise in rehabilitative orthopedics. The patients are children suffering from disabilities caused by accidents, birth defects and diseases, and especially children with cerebral palsy.
Joints Replacement Unit
