Prof. Elad Anter - International expert in the treatment of arrhythmias joined Shamir Medical Center
We welcome the addition of Prof. Elad Anter, a world-renowned cardiologist, specialist in the treatment of arrhythmias to Shamir Medical Center. Prof. Anter will establish a unique institute in Israel for the treatment of arrhythmias that combines advanced treatments, technological innovation, and academic excellence.
Prof. Anter considered one of the most recognized and senior doctors in the world in the field of arrhythmias, who for the past 20 years has developed in his laboratory modern methods and technologies for the treatment of arrhythmias, guided many doctors from all over the world who came to specialize in his department. He is an international lecturer, a member editor of prestigious medical journals, and a member of the writing committees of the recommendations for the treatment of arrhythmias.
Prof. Anter graduated his medical studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, when he specialized in internal medicine at the prestigious Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, affiliated to Harvard University. After a residency in Cardiology and Arrhythmias at the leading Hospital in the field, University of Pennsylvania. After his internship, he returned to Boston and joined Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital as a senior physician.
After 10 years at Harvard University, Prof. Enter was recruited to the Cleveland Clinic, the world's leading hospital for cardiology, where he co-managed the arrhythmia department, and received an additional professorship.
His many contributions to the world of medicine and especially to the research and teaching of arrhythmias have earned him the title of Associate Professor at Harvard University in the USA and a leading international name in his field with thousands of patients from all over the USA
