Dr. Gil Moravsky

Deputy Director, Cardiology Department, and Director, Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit

Dr. Moravsky is a cardiologist, specializing in cardiomyopathy and heart failure. He is the founder and manager of the Heart Failure Service at Shamir Medical Center and also heads the center’s clinical research unit, considered one of the best in Israel and of international renown.

A graduate of Tel Aviv University Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Moravsky completed his residency in internal medicine and cardiology at Shamir Medical Center and a cardiomyopathy and heart failure fellowship at Toronto General Hospital, Canada. Dr. Moravsky served as secretary of the Heart Failure work group at the Israel Cardiology Association for four years and is currently a faculty member at Tel Aviv University Faculty of Medicine. His contribution to medical teaching has won him several awards at the university.
